Emulsified melt formation under alternating electromagnetic field action

This study highlights that a melt gradually passes from the two-volumes state into the fine dispersed emulsion without using melt overheating above a two-phase zone, given that the special organisation action of electromagnetic field in an induction crucible furnace is performed.

The paper under scrutiny argues for the influence of the constant magnetic field on the drops shape of metallic emulsion. Investigated here are the conditions of the spherical inclusions formation in alloys with emulsified structure.
