Flow and Water Freezing on Vertical Surfaces by Drops Irrigation Obtained by Blow Spraying

The paper under scrutiny studies the hydrodynamic parameters in the flow and wetting of solid metal plates and vertical grids of different materials under isothermal water flow and at its freezing on these surfaces. We conduct the experiments on water ice generation of the vertical galvanized metal and polymer plates with wetting density less than at the known minimum density of water wetting on dry and wet vertical surfaces. Ice formation and water cooling are conducted by water contact with frosty air.

Thermodynamic Efficiency of the Heat Pump Air Conditioning System

The purpose of this paper is to analyze and compare thermodynamic efficiency of heat pump air conditioning systems. The paper deals with simplest schemes of the heat pump air conditioning system. Analytically we obtain dependences to calculate these schemes. We also show graphs of the main parameters characterizing the effectiveness of these schemes depending on the ambient temperature. We analyze the effectiveness of the heat pump air conditioning systems.

The Optimal Characteristics of Ground Heat Exchangers for Heat Pump Heating Systems

This paper investigates characteristics of ground heat exchangers for heat pump heating systems. We obtain the optimal ratio between characteristics of ground heat exchanger (tube length of one loop, pipe diameter, and brine velocity in the circuit for heat pump systems) under given conditions of its application (the intensity of selecting heat from soil, thermo-physical characteristics of the heat carrier, temperature conditions of the heat pump system).

The Analysis of Influence of VVER-1000 TVSA Bias and Manufacturing Tolerances on the Active Core Characteristics During Steady-State and Transients Operation

The paper under scrutiny studies the approach of reasonable increase or decrease of multiplication and/or absorption features of fuel and control rods taking into account the fuel assembly bias and manufacturing tolerances. Based on defining conservative initial and boundary conditions, the NPP accident studies are analyzed using this approach. Conservative initial conditions are limiting values (deviations) of reactor systems and equipment parameters defined by the reactor facility design or operational conditions.

Synthesis of Fluid with a Large Value of the Temperature Coefficient of Surface Tension–Imperative in the Era of Universal Energy

This study briefly discusses the essence of the novel science and technology area - thermomolecular energy. The heterogeneous lyophobic system (HLS) the so called "capillary-porous matrix liquid" is used as a new working fluid. It has a huge surface free energy that can be effectively used to store, to dissipate and to convert energy in the thermo-mechanical systems. We show the important role of the magnitude of temperature derivative of the surface tension of the liquid dσ/dT when choosing the functional purpose of the HLS for the developed energy technology.

Investigation of Convective Heat and Mass Transfer in Turbulent Flows in the Burning Presence

By employing modern numerical methods, we conduct a comprehensive theoretical study of convective heat and mass transfer in three-dimensional flows of high-temperature reactive environments in the areas of real geometry. We study the processes of heat and mass transfer during combustion of pulverized coal combustion chamber by the example of BKZ-75 Shakhtinsk TPS using 3D modeling technology based on the solution of differential equations of turbulent reacting flows.

Coefficients of Southward Orientation of Solar Collectors Depending on their Angles of Slope and Azimuth for Conditions in Ukraine

Based on the statistical data on the climate in Ukraine collected from both local and foreign sources, we determine coefficients of southward orientation of solar collectors. They are used at the dependence that considers the stream of solar radiation in clear sky, overcast expressed through power factors and coefficient of efficiency of flat solar collectors or passive systems of solar heating. In addition, we define that in summer more energy can be generated at the southern orientation and slope angles of about 30 degrees.

Comparative Analysis of the Rectified Voltage Control System with Booster Transformers

The aim of the paper is to make the comparative analysis of the most promising rectified voltage control system layout modifications with booster transformers. We compare energy indices of various control systems and study the influence of zero sequence currents and voltages. We conclude that it is practically expedient to use the control system with the booster transformer whose secondary winding is connected to line wires of the main transformer delta-connected primary winding.

Heat and Mass Transfer Characteristics of Air-to-Air Membrane Recuperator During Heating Season

This paper considers issues of heat and mass transfer simulation in cross flow membrane plate heat exchanger in ventilation systems with condensation and frost formation during heating season. Simulation results are presented in the form of distribution of heat and mass transfer coefficients and heat-transfer agents temperature on the heat exchange surface. We present the dependences of critical conditions of frost formation and sensible efficiency adjustment factor on indoor air relative humidity and outside air temperature.

Comparative Analysis of Data Preparation with Consideration of Distribution of Coolant Temperature on Cartridge Radius and Using its Average Value

Influence of account of distributing of temperature of teplonosiya is studied on the radius of TVZ on the sizes of macroscopic sections of co-operation by the software products of Solidworks and Wimsd-5b. The macroscopic sections of co-operation were determined depending on composition of fuel, his burning down, position of organs of adjusting, closeness of teplonosiya, temperature of teplonosiya, temperature of fuel and concentration of liquid absorber. The method of dataorigination consisted in oserednenni of the indicated parameters of fuel and teplonosiya on the cut of TVZ.
