Decreasing Blinks Influence at the Analysis of an Iridologycal Image of the Eye

This paper proposes the algorithm for decreasing the blinks influence at the analysis of the iridologycal image of the eye. It allows improving the reliability and accuracy of pupil's edge detection. Its advantages and efficiency are confirmed by the results of numerical simulations. This algorithm is based on the detection of an encompassing rectangle for all pupil edge points. Each point of the rectangle is connected with the image center. Finally, we remove all edge points on this ray, except the first edge point.

On Determining ranges of eye ametropy and astigmatism by Employing ophthalmology aberrometers

According to the results of eyes refractometry of patients of all age groups, we study the parameters of ametropy and astigmatism. The experimental results show that in accordance with the ametropy and astigmatism value the distribution of patients’ number is not Gaussian. On the experimental side, we demonstrate that operating ranges of the conservative ophthalmology aberrometer are based on the research results.

The Method of Technology Glance Control of Tape and Sheet Materials

This study demonstrates the method of technology glance control of tape and sheet materials based on the measurement of the ratio of the reflected mirror light flow from a controllable material to a total falling light flow. We show that it is necessary to carry out the glance’s measurement of various types of materials (paper, cardboard, wood-fibrous plates etc.) at the angles not less than 75. It ensures the greatest sensitivity of a method and the least influence of material chromaticity.

Predictive correction of errors

The paper considers the newly developed methods of transient errors correction in the computer couplers. Various ways of errors correction are determined and their predictive algorithms are implemented.

The aligment trajectory synthesis of the plane in an automatic landing mode

This paper outlines the approach to resolve the program motion task at the airplane automatic alignment. In particular, we consider the basic requirements for the longitudinal motion program of the airplane in the landing stage. We also provide some recommendations for the law assignment of the height change and implement the calculation algorithm of the possible trajectory variant. On the experimental side, synthesis of such law is carried out for the specific airplane and computer modeling of the motion on the calculated trajectory is executed.

The structural algoritmic organization of the software cirrector agent of spelling errors

The present paper validates the appropriateness of the spelling errors corrector development, based on the software agents’ technology. In particular, we determine the influence of the proofreader external environment (document-centric information system) on its structure and working mechanisms. Finally, we apply the means of the structural-algorithmic organization of the software proofreader to ensure its effective functioning as a part of different types of document-centric software systems.

The Influence of Fill-Factor by Pixels of an Infra-Red Matrix Detector on the Quality Thermal Images

The present paper deals with the modulation transfer function of the matrix detector which takes into account the sizes of a pixel, the format and the fill-factor of a matrix. Investigated here is the dependence of image contrast on the Niquist’s frequency from the fill-factor of the matrix.

Modal control application for automobile cruise control

This paper deals with the system of automatic car control to ensure safety traffic. The cruise control system is designed utilizing the standard coefficients and incorporating the mathematical models of modal control. The automatic control system is simulated in SIMULINK. Moreover, we study the step response of this system taking into account white noise and inertia of the measuring instruments.

Simulation of aberrations of the optical system of the human eye. Part 1. Review and comparative analysis of physical eye models with aberrations

In this paper, we review and make a comparative analysis of physical eye models with aberrations. We propose a doublet lens model, free of prototypes’ drawbacks. By computation of the wave aberration values, we prove the ability of the proposed model to simulate the wave aberrations, identical to those in the human eye.
