The formation principles of structure and properties of composite antifriction materials on the base of steel wastes

The experimental results demonstrate the specificity of the metallographic structure formation of the physical-mechanical properties and tribotechnical characteristics of antifriction composite materials, based on the 5Х3В3МФС steel wastes with the high temperature solid lubricant CaF2 impurities. Furthermore, we show that a complex heterogeneous materials structure is formed in the sintering process, ensuring the high-level formation of antifriction composites operational properties.

The influence of alloying elements on the formation of structure and properties of composite bearing materials on the basis of steel offcuts of 11Р3М3Ф2. Part 2. Phase composition, structure and properties of materials

Using powder-wastes of steel 11Р3М3Ф2 + CaF2, we obtain the nonequilibrium macroheterogenous fine-grained structure. It is hard and plastic enough metallic matrix consisting of α-solid solution with hard grains of alloying elements carbides (sorbitelike pearlite) as well as with the antifriction adding CaF2, distributed in it. Specifically, we show that physical, mechanical and tribotechnical properties can be combined in this structure.

The influence of alloying elements on the formation of the structure and properties of composite bearing materials on the basis of steel offcuts of 11Р3М3Ф2. Part 1. Technological factors of obtaining materials and their influence on the structure

The paper develops the technological scheme for obtaining the composition bearing materials on the basis of polishing wastes of steel 11Р3М3Ф2 with the solid lubricant CaF2. As a result we obtain the complex heterogeneous structure of composition bearing materials with advanced mechanical properties that consists of sorbitlike pearlite metallic matrix with evenly distributed particles of calcium ftoride.

Regularities of properties change and optimization of antifriction composite materials with nickel matrix composition

The present paper provides insights into the complex versatile research of the physical-mechanical, tribotechnical properties, metallographic and fractographic analysis of composite antifriction materials on the base of nickel, alloyed by molybdenum and tungsten with the solid lubricant CaF2. The results of the study reveal the regularities of the correlation between composite materials construction strength and their functional properties according to the content of hardening alloy elements and solid lubricant.

The specificity of the production technology and mechanical precision polishing of effective bearing materials based on tool high-speed steels wastes

In this paper, we highlight the results of developing the resource-saving production technology as well as the fine mechanical finishing of effective bearing materials based on tool high-speed steels Р6М5, Р6М5К5, Р6М5Ф3 abrasive wastes with CaF2 solid lubricant. We also illustrate the influence of production technology on the structure formation and properties of new bearing materials for heavy operation conditions.
