Optimization of electrodes polarization component for supercapacitors

The paper considers the dependence of supercapacitor inner resistance on thickness of electrodes polarization component in order to optimize the microporous structure of the activated carbon material, utilized for electrode production, with the structure of transport channels inside electrodes. Employing the tier model, we describe electrochemical processes, occurring in porous electrodes.

The modeling and calculation of performance parameters of ultracapacitor

This paper provides insights into the study of the effect of internal charge relaxation on the time change of ultracapacitors’ main characteristics. Emphasized here is a proposed theoretical model, which describes the ultracapacitor’s state, depending on operation regime and duration. Within the framework of this model, we demonstrate that the ultracapacitor’s performance measurements should be conducted, considering internal charge relaxation processes and changes.
